The Institute of Crisis and Risk Management (ICRM), a not-for-profit and self-regulating professional organization incorporated since March 2001 in Hong Kong, is one of the leading conformity accreditation and certification organizations to assist the business executives, professionals, and specialists in the development of risk, crisis, and mediation management systems. The Korean Society of Disaster Information (KOSDI, www.sodi.or.kr) originated from Korean Committee of Disaster Information, founded in 1997 to enhance the level of quality of disaster information. Korean Committee of Disaster Information transformed to academic society level with most kinds of disaster related personnel.

The Korean Society of Disaster Medicine (KSDM) originated from Korean Association of Disaster and Emergency Care (KADEC) which was founded in February, 2007 to prepare for the Asian Pacific Conference of Disaster Medicine. KSDM started officially in 2010 and annual KSDM conferences have been performed ever since.
KSDM serves as a nationally functioning platform for disaster managers, fire and rescue persons, health care providers including emergency physicians / nurses / paramedics, safety providers, related NGOs. KSDM supports governmental disaster care policy and research as well as disaster experts’ knowledge network.

The purpose of the Taiwan Association of Disaster Prevention Industry (TADPI) is to engage and integrate the domestic and international disaster prevention related industry chain actively. TADPI attempts to expand the demand and create the new markets worldwide, and promote the disaster prevention technologies that belong to our members. Officially founded on 31 March 2013, the TADPI coordinates organizations and experts in different fields and technologies related to disaster prevention, such as hazard modeling and simulation, engineering practices, risk management and insurance, geospatial information, monitoring and communications, security and safety, and firefighting. Through the promotion of the relevant businesses, public awareness and adaptability can be strengthened when facing a catastrophe.

TIEMS is dedicated to developing and bringing the benefits of modern emergency management tools, techniques and good industry practices to society for a safer world.
